If we are coming from Faro or Faro Airport, the journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes via the A22 (Via do Infante) heading west, taking the exit towards Guia/Albufeira and following the signs to Galé or Salgados. From Albufeira, the trip is even shorter, about 15-20 minutes. Once near the beach, we will find several parking options, both free and paid, especially during the high season. Some nearby hotels and resorts also offer private parking for their guests, which is a great advantage.

By Public Transport

Although public transport in the Algarve is not as extensive as in other regions, it is possible to reach Praia de los Salgados by bus. We would need to take a bus from Faro or Albufeira to the Galé or Armação de Pêra area, and from there, probably a taxi or a longer walk to the beach. We recommend checking the schedules of local bus companies, such as Vamus Algarve, as they can vary depending on the season.
