How to Get to Praia de la Angrinha

Getting to Praia de la Angrinha is relatively straightforward, and the journey itself gives us a taste of the beauty that awaits. From the city of Faro, the most comfortable and efficient route is by car. We'll take the A22 (Via do Infante) heading west, following signs towards Portimão and then Ferragudo. The journey, approximately 45 to 60 minutes, offers typical Algarve landscapes, with its almond trees, orange trees, and small villages dotted along the way.

Once in Ferragudo, the beach is very well signposted. We can follow signs to Praia Grande, as Angrinha is adjacent to it, right next to the estuary. We'll find several parking areas nearby, some free and others paid, especially during the high season. It's advisable to arrive early in summer to secure a good spot. If we opt for public transport from Faro, the most practical option would be to take a bus to Portimão and, from there, a taxi or a local bus to Ferragudo. However, for greater comfort and freedom of movement, we always recommend a car, especially if we plan to explore the surroundings of this beautiful Faro beach.

For our comfort, we also have showers to rinse off the sand and salt after swimming, as well as clean and well-maintained restrooms/WCs. Furthermore, during the summer months, it's common to find umbrella and sunbed rental services, allowing us to relax without having to carry our own equipment.
