How to get to Praia de Rebolinhos

From Faro Airport or the city, the most direct route is to cross the bridge connecting the mainland to Faro Island, where the beach is located. Once on the island, Praia de Rebolinhos is situated towards the eastern end, often perceived as a quieter extension of the main Praia de Faro.

By private or rental car

Access by car is the most comfortable option. From Faro, take the N125-10 directly towards Praia de Faro. Once on the island, continue along the main road almost to the end. Public transport

If you prefer public transport, there are regular buses connecting central Faro with Praia de Faro. Line 16 by the company Proximo is the most common. Once the bus drops you off at the main Praia de Faro stop, you will need to walk a bit east to reach the quieter area of Praia de Rebolinhos. It's a pleasant walk along the coast, allowing you to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and the local atmosphere. Although it can be a bit slower, it's an economical and ecological way to reach one of the best Portugal beaches.
