How to Get to Praia de Ofir

For those who choose to drive, the A28 motorway (which connects Porto and Viana do Castelo) is the most direct route. We must take the exit towards Esposende/Fão and, once there, follow the signs to Ofir. The journey from Porto usually takes about 40-50 minutes, while from Braga, the estimated time is approximately 30-40 minutes via the A11 and A28, making it a very accessible option for residents of the district capital.

Transport Options

The car is the most comfortable option, and we will find several parking areas near the beach, although in high season they can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early. Although less direct, it is possible to reach it by bus from Braga or Esposende, checking the schedules in advance. Once in Ofir, the beach is easily accessible on foot from most accommodations and parking areas, thanks to its boardwalks and promenades.
