Once in Holbox, we have several options to get close to Punta Mosquito, as it is not directly accessible by car or golf cart (the main transportation on the island).

From Holbox Town

The most common and adventurous way to get there is by walking. From the center of Holbox town, we head west along the beach. The walk is long, approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on our pace and the tide conditions. It is crucial to plan this walk for low tide, as much of the route involves walking on sandbanks and in shallow water. We recommend bringing water, sunscreen, a hat, and appropriate footwear for water. You won't find chiringuitos, bathrooms, showers, lifeguards, rental umbrellas, or street vendors.
