How to Get to Playa Punta Francés

Being an Isla de la Juventud beach with a focus on conservation and diving, Playa Punta Francés does not offer the same tourist infrastructure we would find at an all-inclusive resort. And, honestly, that is precisely what we were looking for and value. The services are basic but functional, designed to complement the natural experience without detracting from its authenticity. Mainly, the services are associated with the dive centers or small eco-lodges operating in the area.

We found small areas where you can rent rustic umbrellas and sun loungers, perfect for sheltering from the Caribbean sun and enjoying a well-deserved rest after a dive. There are some simple showers, often outdoors, to rinse off the sea salt. The parking is more of a designated and informal area.
