By Car

From the center of Javea or from nearby towns like Denia or Moraira, we can take the CV-734 and then follow the signs towards the Port or the Arenal. The beach stretches along the promenade, and we will find various parking areas. Parking is usually not a major problem outside of the high season, as there is on-street parking all along the avenue. However, in the summer months (July and August), the influx is greater and it can be more difficult to find a spot, so we advise arriving early or considering other transport options.

Public Transport

Javea has an urban bus service that connects the main areas of the municipality: the Old Town, the Port, and the Arenal. The line that connects the Port with the Arenal passes directly by Playa del Primer Muntanyar, so it's a comfortable and economical option to get there, especially if we are already staying in Javea. After the bustle of August, September and October gift us with still warm days and the sea at the perfect temperature, but with far fewer people. It's a wonderful time for those seeking relaxation and disconnection. The chiringuitos and restaurants remain open, but the atmosphere is more peaceful. The sunsets during this time are spectacular and the light is ideal for photography.

Winter (November-March)

Although it's not the season for swimming, winter at Primer Muntanyar has its own charm.
