If we come by car, the city is very well connected via the national road N-332, which runs along the entire Mediterranean coast. Once in Torrevieja, following signs to the center or the promenade will lead us directly to the beach. Parking can be a challenge during high season, as, being an urban beach, spaces are limited and often paid (blue zone). We always recommend arriving early or considering underground parking options if traveling by car during the summer months.

For those who prefer public transport, Torrevieja has an excellent network of urban buses connecting different points of the city with Playa del Cura. Many lines have stops just a few meters from the sand, which greatly facilitates access. Furthermore, if we are staying in the center of Torrevieja, we can reach the beach comfortably on foot in a matter of minutes, enjoying a pleasant stroll along the lively promenade. This accessibility is one of the great attractions of Playa del Cura beach, making it a convenient option for all visitors, regardless of how they choose to get around.

Safety is a priority, and therefore, Playa del Cura has a lifeguard and surveillance service during the bathing season, with watchtowers and qualified personnel ready to act. For those seeking comfort, there are sun lounger and umbrella rental points, allowing us to relax without having to carry our own equipment. Along the promenade, there are successive chiringuitos and restaurants, where we can enjoy a refreshing drink, an ice cream, or a full meal with sea views. Full accessibility is another of its great achievements: it features access ramps, wooden walkways to the shore, and, at times, amphibious chairs and assistance personnel for people with reduced mobility, making beach enjoyment a reality for everyone. Although parking is limited, the presence of regulated parking zones and some underground car parks nearby minimizes inconvenience.
