Getting to Playa del Canadell is relatively straightforward, although access and parking can be a factor to consider, especially during the high season months. We always recommend planning the visit a little to avoid setbacks and fully enjoy the experience.

By Car

If we choose to drive, the beach is located in Calella de Palafrugell, a coastal area easily accessible from the C-31 road that connects with Palafrugell. Once in Calella, the signs to the beach are clear. It's important to consider that parking near the beach is limited and, during the high season (July and August), it's usually paid and very busy. We usually look for parking in the designated areas a bit further away and enjoy a pleasant walk to the sand. There are several paid public car parks that fill up quickly, so arriving early is key if we want to find a spot nearby.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer public transport, there are bus lines connecting Palafrugell with Calella de Palafrugell, especially during the tourist season. From the Palafrugell bus station, we can take a bus that will drop us off a few minutes' walk from the beach. It's a comfortable and eco-friendly option, allowing us to forget the stress of parking and enjoy the scenery during the journey. We consider it an excellent alternative, especially if we're not in a hurry.

On Foot or by Bicycle

From the center of Calella de Palafrugell, Playa del Canadell is accessible on foot via a picturesque promenade that runs along the coast.
