The most comfortable and recommended way to access it is undoubtedly by car. From Vlora, we will take the SH8 highway heading north, towards the city of Fier. After a few kilometers, we will find signs guiding us to the turnoff leading to Zvërnec and the monastery. The road is paved and in good condition, making the journey easy even for those not used to driving on secondary roads. The drive usually takes between 15 and 25 minutes, depending on traffic and our exact starting point in Vlora.

Transportation Options

If we don't have our own vehicle, there are other alternatives. Taxis are a viable option from Vlora, although the cost can be a bit higher. It is advisable to negotiate the fare before starting the trip to avoid surprises. A more economical alternative could be to take a local bus from Vlora heading towards the Narta or Fier area and ask the driver to drop us off at the turnoff to Zvërnec.
