How to Get to Playa de Torreblanca

Getting to Playa de Torreblanca is relatively straightforward, given its excellent location and the good transport connections on the Costa del Sol. We always recommend planning the journey a little to make the most of your time.

By Car

If you're coming by car, the most direct way is via the A-7 motorway (Autovía del Mediterráneo). You should take the exit towards Fuengirola Este or directly the Torreblanca exit. Once in the area, you'll find parking along the promenade, although in high season it can be more challenging and require a bit of patience to find a spot. There are some public or paid parking areas nearby, but street parking is the most common option. The beach is very well signposted, so you won't have any problems locating it.

By Public Transport

One of the great advantages of Playa de Torreblanca is its excellent connection with the C1 Cercanías train, which links Málaga city with Fuengirola. There's a station called 'Torreblanca' very close to the beach, making it an ideal option if you don't want to worry about parking. From the station, it's a pleasant walk of just 5-10 minutes to the sand. Furthermore, several urban bus lines from Fuengirola and Benalmádena have stops nearby, facilitating access from different points along the coast.

The Sand and Water

When we first set foot on Playa de Torreblanca, the first thing we notice is the quality of its sand. It's golden, fine, and soft sand that invites you to take off your sandals and feel it between your toes. It's perfect for building sandcastles with the little ones or simply for spreading out a towel and enjoying the sun without discomfort. Its expanse means that, even on days with more visitors, we don't feel a sense of overcrowding; we can always find a spot for ourselves.
