By Car

The most comfortable and flexible way to reach Tolo is undoubtedly by car. The journey from Athens takes approximately two and a half hours, depending on traffic. The route takes us along well-maintained roads and offers changing landscapes that gradually introduce us to the beauty of the Peloponnese. Once in Tolo, finding parking can be a bit more challenging during high season, but there are designated areas and often hotels offer their own spaces.

By Bus (KTEL)

For those who prefer public transport, the KTEL company buses offer regular connections from the Kifissos Bus Station in Athens to Nafplio, the capital of Argolida. The journey takes about two hours. Once in Nafplio, we can take another local KTEL bus that will take us directly to Tolo in about 20-30 minutes. It is an economical option and allows us to enjoy the scenery without worrying about driving.

Other Means

It is also possible to hire taxis or private transfers from Athens airport or from the city itself, which offers greater comfort, albeit at a higher cost. Whatever our choice, the road to Playa de Tolo is part of the adventure and prepares us for the experience that awaits.

• Sunbeds and Umbrellas: Along much of the beach, we can rent comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas to protect ourselves from the sun and relax. Prices are usually reasonable and it is an excellent option for spending the day.
• Chiringuitos and Restaurants: The beach is dotted with charming chiringuitos and tavernas offering everything from refreshments and snacks to full meals with Greek specialties. It's perfect for a light lunch or a dinner with sea views.
• Showers and Toilets/WC: We have freshwater showers to wash off the salt and sand after swimming, as well as clean and accessible toilet facilities.
• Lifeguard Service: During the high season, the beach has lifeguard stations that watch over the safety of swimmers, providing us with great peace of mind.
• Equipment Rental: For the more active, there are points where we can rent pedal boats, kayaks, paddle surfboards, and other equipment for gentle water sports.
