How to Get to Playa de Taghazout

Getting to Playa de Taghazout is relatively straightforward, especially if we fly into Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA). From there, we have several options to cover the approximately 45 kilometers to our destination:

• By taxi: This is the most comfortable and direct option. We can take a 'grand taxi' directly from the airport. The journey usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour, and the price should be negotiated before getting in. It's advisable to agree on the fare to avoid surprises.
• By bus: If we prefer a more economical option, we can take a bus from the airport to Agadir's bus station, and from there, another local bus (line 32 or 33) or a 'petit taxi' to Taghazout. This option takes longer but is very affordable.
• Car rental: For those who wish to explore the region with total freedom, renting a car at Agadir airport is an excellent idea. The coastal road to Taghazout is scenic and in good condition, making the trip easy. Furthermore, it will allow us to easily take excursions to nearby places.
• Private transfers: Many hotels and surf camps in Taghazout offer airport transfer services. This is a convenient option if we already have accommodation booked and want to arrive without worries.

The Sand and Water

Playa de Taghazout welcomes us with fine, golden sand that stretches for kilometers, inviting us to long barefoot walks along the edge of the Atlantic. Its soft texture is perfect for relaxing in the sun or for children to play building sandcastles. For surfers, Taghazout's waves are legendary, with famous breaks like Anchor Point, Killer Point, and Hash Point, attracting riders of all levels in search of the perfect wave.
