How to get to Playa de Son Bauló

Getting to Playa de Son Bauló is relatively easy, making it a very accessible destination for all our travelers. Located at the eastern end of Can Picafort, within the municipality of Santa Margalida, its access points are well signposted and easy to find, whether we are coming from Palma, Alcúdia or any other point on the island.

If we choose to go by car, which is the most comfortable option for many, we must take the Ma-12 road towards Can Picafort. Once in the town, we follow the signs to Son Bauló. The good news is that, near the beach, we find several free parking areas, which greatly facilitates the visit, especially if we are traveling with children or a lot of luggage. However, in high season, during July and August, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot, as the influx of visitors is considerable.

For those who prefer public transport, the bus line L352 connects Can Picafort with other important towns such as Alcúdia, Puerto de Alcúdia and even Palma (with a transfer). There are bus stops conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the beach, which is ideal for those who want to enjoy a beach day without worrying about parking. Furthermore, for the more sporty or those staying nearby, Playa de Son Bauló is easily accessible on foot or by bicycle, thanks to the promenades and bike lanes that connect it with the rest of Can Picafort and its surroundings.
