How to Get to Playa de Solaris

Getting to Playa de Solaris is relatively straightforward, given its excellent location and Croatia's transport infrastructure. We always recommend planning the trip in advance to ensure a hassle-free arrival and to start enjoying this Dalmatian paradise as soon as possible.

By Plane

For most of our international travelers, the most practical option is flying. The nearest airports are:

• Split Airport (SPU): Located about 50-60 kilometers south of Šibenik. It's one of Croatia's busiest airports and receives flights from numerous European cities. From the airport, you can take a direct bus to Split's bus station, and from there, another bus to Šibenik. Alternatively, a taxi or private transfer is a faster and more comfortable option directly to Amadria Park.
• Zadar Airport (ZAD): Approximately 70-80 kilometers north of Šibenik. It's smaller than Split but also offers connections with several low-cost airlines. Similar to Split Airport, you can take a bus to Zadar's station and then another to Šibenik, or opt for a taxi/private transfer.

By Car

If you prefer the flexibility of driving and exploring the region at your own pace, getting to Playa de Solaris by car is very convenient. Croatia has an excellent highway network. If you're coming from the north (e.g., Zagreb or Zadar), you'll take the A1 highway south and exit at the Šibenik exit. If you're coming from the south (e.g., Split or Dubrovnik), you'll also take the A1 north and exit at Šibenik. Once in the vicinity of Šibenik, the signage to Amadria Park (formerly Solaris Beach Resort) is clear and will guide you directly to the complex. The resort has ample parking areas, although during high season there may be an associated cost. The ease of parking is a great advantage, as it eliminates the stress of finding a place to leave your vehicle, allowing you to enjoy the beach and resort without worries.

By Bus

Croatia has an extensive intercity bus network connecting major cities and towns. You can reach Šibenik's bus station from almost any major city in the country, such as Zagreb, Split, or Dubrovnik. Buses are usually comfortable and offer an economical and picturesque way to travel. Once at Šibenik's station, as mentioned, there are local buses that will take you to Amadria Park, or you can take a taxi. It's an option widely used by travelers who want to immerse themselves in the local culture and enjoy the scenery during the journey, reinforcing the connection with the Croatian beaches from the very first moment of your arrival.
