From Essaouira

The most common and comfortable way to get to Sidi Kaouki is from the city of Essaouira. Here are your alternatives:

• Grand Taxi: This is, by far, the most popular and efficient option. 'Grand taxis' are shared taxis that depart from the bus station or specific points in Essaouira. They usually charge a fixed fare per person (negotiable if you want the taxi for yourselves) and the journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. It is an excellent way to interact with locals and enjoy the scenery.
• Rental Car: If you prefer the freedom to explore at your own pace, renting a car in Essaouira (or directly at Marrakech/Casablanca airport) is an excellent idea. The road is in good condition and well signposted. It will also allow you to discover other Essaouira beaches and the surrounding area easily.
