If we come by car, the AP-9 highway connects us quickly to the area, and from A Coruña city, the journey is just 15-20 minutes. Once in Oleiros, the signs to Santa Cruz are clear. We'll find parking nearby, with both public parking areas and some paid options, especially in high season, although it's always advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot.

For those who prefer public transport, several intercity bus lines connect A Coruña with Oleiros and, specifically, with Santa Cruz. It's a comfortable and sustainable option that allows us to forget the car and enjoy the scenery from the start. The bus stop is usually just a few meters from the beach, making access easy for all visitors.

• Spring (April and May): Ideal for those seeking tranquility. Days are often sunny and pleasant, perfect for long walks on the sand, enjoying the landscape and sea breeze without the summer crowds. It's not yet swimming season for most, but the surroundings are beautiful.
• Autumn (October and November): Similar to spring in terms of tranquility. It's a magnificent time for photography lovers, with spectacular light and colors. Days can be cooler, but a good coat will allow us to enjoy the beauty of the place.
• Winter (December to March): The beach takes on a wilder, more solitary character. It's perfect for disconnecting, walking with the sound of the sea as your only company, and contemplating the force of the Atlantic from the protection of the estuary. The fresh, salty air is revitalizing.
