From Athens

The most common and convenient way to get to Rovies from Athens is by car. The journey takes approximately two and a half to three hours, depending on traffic and any stops you make. The most used route is as follows:

• By car: Drive north on the E75 highway to the city of Chalkida, the capital of Evia. Here you will cross the famous Chalkida bridge, which connects the island with the Greek mainland. Once on Evia, the main road will take you to the north of the island, passing through picturesque villages and green landscapes. The signage to Rovies is clear, and the road is generally good, although some sections may be more winding. Renting a car will give you the freedom to explore not only the Playa de Rovies but also the charming surroundings of Evia at your own pace.

By Ferry
