How to get to Playa de Raeiros

Getting to Playa de Raeiros is relatively straightforward, and the options vary depending on your starting point and preferences. We always recommend a car for exploring this area of Galicia, as it offers the greatest flexibility to move around the surroundings and discover its hidden charms. From O Grove, the journey is short and well signposted. We just need to follow the signs towards A Lanzada or Sanxenxo on the PO-316 road and then watch for the turn-offs to the beach.

The access to Playa de Raeiros is comfortable, with a small detour from the main road that takes us directly to it. Regarding parking, the beach has parking areas which, although not excessively large, are usually sufficient outside of peak high season. However, if you plan to visit Raeiros in the middle of August or on a sunny weekend, our advice is to arrive early. This way you'll secure a good spot and avoid the crowds. There are no direct public transport options that drop you off right on the sand, so a private vehicle or a taxi/ride-hailing service are the most viable alternatives.

The sand and the water
