How to Get to Playa de Porto Zoro

We always recommend renting a car to have the freedom to explore the island at your own pace, but there are other alternatives available. Porto Zoro is located in the southeastern part of the island, about 15 kilometres from Zante Town (the capital) and the airport, which translates to a journey of approximately 25-30 minutes by car.

By Rental Car

This is, without a doubt, the most practical option. From Zante Town, follow the signs towards Vassilikos. The road is well signposted and the scenery along the way is charming, winding through olive groves and small villages. Once in the Porto Zoro area, you will find a large car park, which makes visiting very easy.

By Taxi

Taxis are available in Zante Town, the airport, and the main tourist centres. It is a comfortable option, although more expensive than the bus or a rental car. Be sure to agree on the price with the driver before starting the journey.

By Local Bus

During the high season, there are bus services connecting Zante Town with the Vassilikos region. However, frequencies can be limited and schedules are not always the most convenient. It is advisable to check the updated timetables at the Zante Town bus station if you choose this route. Although it can be a more economical option, we prefer the flexibility offered by a car.
