We have been lucky enough to visit it on several occasions and it has always left us with an excellent impression. How to Get to Playa de Poblenou

Getting to Playa de Poblenou is surprisingly easy, making it a very accessible option for any getaway. Its good connection with main roads and public transport greatly facilitates the planning of our visit.

By Car

If we choose to drive, the C-32 motorway is the main access route from Barcelona or Girona. We must take the exit towards Pineda de Mar and, once in the town, follow the signs to the coast. It is important to know that, although there are several nearby parking areas, both paid and some free, availability can be limited during high season. Therefore, we always recommend arriving early in the morning to secure a good spot and avoid inconvenience.

By Train

For us, the most comfortable, sustainable, and picturesque option is the train. The R1 line of Rodalies de Catalunya connects us directly to Pineda de Mar station from central Barcelona or from other coastal towns of the Maresme. The train journey is an experience in itself, with spectacular views of the coast. Pineda de Mar station is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk from the beach. It's a walk that allows us to soak up the local atmosphere, pass by small shops and cafes, before reaching our final destination, the beautiful Playa de Poblenou.

By Bus

Several interurban bus lines connect Pineda de Mar with nearby towns and the capital. It is a good alternative if we are staying in neighboring municipalities and prefer not to use the car. The stops are usually well signposted and connected to the center of Pineda, offering a flexible option for getting around the area.

The Sand and Water

Playa de Poblenou welcomes us with fine, golden sand, very pleasant to the touch and perfect for building sandcastles with the little ones or simply relaxing on it.
