How to Get to Playa de Pantín

Getting to Playa de Pantín is relatively straightforward, although it's located in a natural setting that gives it a certain sense of isolation. We always recommend a car as the most comfortable option to reach this jewel of Valdoviño.

From Ferrol, the nearest city of significance, the journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes via the AC-116. For those coming from A Coruña, the trip is about 45-50 minutes via the AP-9 and then turning onto the AC-566 and finally the AC-116. It's a scenic route that allows us to enjoy the rural and coastal landscapes of the province.

Once near the beach, we'll find parking available. During the summer and, especially, during the Pantín Classic Pro, the parking can fill up quickly, so it's advisable to arrive early. There are designated parking areas, some free and others paid, managed by the beach bars or the municipality itself. Remember, patience is a virtue in high season.

Although there are no direct public transport lines that drop us off on the sand of Pantín, some intercity buses reach the center of Valdoviño, from where we could opt for a taxi. However, for most visitors, a private vehicle remains the best option to fully enjoy the flexibility the area offers.
