Whether you are coming from Bilbao (about 35-40 minutes) or from Santander (approximately 50-60 minutes), the exit towards Castro Urdiales will leave you just a step away from the town. Once in Castro, the signs to Playa de Ostende are clear and will guide you without a problem. We recommend planning your arrival early in the morning, especially during high season, to secure a good spot in the nearby parking areas. There are several parking zones, some of them paid, but the convenience of having the car close to the beach is priceless. Don't worry, there are always options, even if you sometimes have to circle around a bit.
