How to Get to Playa de Moro

Getting to Playa de Moro is part of the adventure and charm of discovering this Asturian corner. Located in the municipality of Navia, access is relatively simple, although it requires a small detour from the main routes, which contributes to its tranquil and less crowded atmosphere.

Access by Car

If we come by car, the most common way to get there is via the A-8 motorway (Autovía del Cantábrico). We must take the exit towards Navia. Once in the center of Navia, we follow the signs towards the coast or the local beaches. There are well-signposted secondary roads that will guide us to the vicinity of the beach. It is important to remember that Navia is a charming town, and the journey to the beach will allow us to enjoy the Asturian rural landscapes.

Parking

In the immediate vicinity of Playa de Moro, especially in high season, we will find designated parking areas. Although it is not always a formal and extensive parking lot, there is usually enough space to leave the car without problems, at a comfortable distance to then start a short walk to the sand. We always recommend arriving early on days of high attendance to secure a good spot.

Access on Foot

Once the car is parked, the final access to the beach is via a path or trail that descends to the cove. This path is generally easy to traverse, although it may have some slope. The reward is immediate: at the end of the path, the spectacular view of Playa de Moro opens before us, with its golden sand and crystal-clear waters, inviting us to enjoy an unforgettable day in this Asturian paradise.

Parking

As we have already mentioned, the beach has nearby Parking areas, which facilitates access by private vehicle. Although it is not an underground or paid parking lot, they are usually areas prepared for this purpose, ensuring we can leave our car at a reasonable distance from the sand. It is a plus for visitor comfort.

Lifeguards

During the bathing season, safety is a priority. Therefore, Playa de Moro usually has a Lifeguard service. Their presence gives us additional peace of mind, knowing that there are professionals watching over our safety and that of our families in the water.
