How to Get to Playa de Monodendri

From Gaios

The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes along a well-signposted road that winds through olive and cypress trees. Another option is to take a taxi, which will drop you off right at the beach entrance. For those who prefer public transport, there is a local bus connecting Gaios with Loggos and Lakka, and although it won't drop you off exactly at the beach, you can ask the driver for the stop closest to Monodendri and walk a short distance. However, for Playa de Monodendri specifically, a private vehicle or taxi is most recommended.

From Loggos and Lakka

From Loggos, Playa de Monodendri is even closer, just a few minutes by car or scooter. The route is equally picturesque and pleasant. From Lakka, the trip is a bit longer than from Loggos, but still very manageable, about 15-20 minutes by vehicle. With all private transport options, you will find parking near the beach, although in high season it can fill up quickly, so it is advisable to arrive early.
