Getting to Playa de Megalos Aselinos is part of the adventure, offering us a different perspective of Skiathos. It's more remote than the southern beaches, contributing to its charm.

By Car or Motorbike

The most common way is by renting a car or motorbike. From Skiathos Town, the journey takes about 25-30 minutes on a paved road, although with narrow and winding sections. Driving with caution is key. There is a parking area near the beach, very convenient.

By Taxi or Bus

There is no direct bus. We can take it to the main road and then a taxi, or take a taxi directly from Skiathos Town, which is more comfortable but costly.

By Boat

For a different experience, some boat tours along the northwest coast include a stop at Megalos Aselinos. We can also rent a private boat to explore at our own pace, ideal for sailing and snorkeling enthusiasts.
