By Car

If we come by car, the beach has nearby parking areas. Around Puerto Marina and along the promenade, we will find public parking lots, some of them underground, which offer convenience although they are usually paid. In high season, especially during July and August, demand is high and it can be a challenge to find a spot. Our recommendation is always to arrive early in the morning to secure a good spot and avoid the crowds. There are also some adjacent streets where, with luck, we can find free parking, but these spaces are highly sought after.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer public transport, the connection is excellent, allowing us to leave the car at home and not worry about parking. Benalmádena is very well connected:

• Urban Bus: Several Benalmádena urban bus lines have stops very close to the beach, leaving us just a few meters from the sand. It's an economical and efficient option to get around the municipality.
• Commuter Train (C-1): If we are coming from Málaga city, Fuengirola, or the airport, we can take the Commuter Train (line C-1) to the Arroyo de la Miel station. From there, a short taxi or bus ride, or even a pleasant 15-20 minute walk, will take us directly to the beach. The station is very well located and is a key communication hub.

On Foot

The proximity to Puerto Marina also facilitates access on foot if we are staying in that area, or if we simply wish to combine a walk around the port with a day at the beach. The promenade that borders Playa de Malapesquera is wide and very pleasant, ideal for a relaxed stroll while enjoying the sea views and the coastal atmosphere.
