We always recommend renting a car or a motorbike in Skopelos town or in one of the nearby villages. The main road connecting the capital with the south coast of the island is quite good, but the turn-off towards Limnonari involves a stretch of unpaved road, which, while passable, requires careful driving.

From Skopelos town, the drive usually takes about 15-20 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 10 kilometers. There is signage, although sometimes discreet, that guides us to the beach. Once we take the turn-off from the main road, we will begin a descent along a dirt path that winds through olive and pine trees. This final stretch can be a bit steep in some places, but it is manageable for most vehicles. Upon arrival, you will find a parking area adjacent to the taverna, which greatly facilitates logistics. The experience of driving along these rural roads, with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, is a delight in itself and immerses us even more in the island atmosphere of Greece.
