How to Get to Playa de las Delicias

Getting to Playa de las Delicias is extremely simple, making it a very practical option for any type of traveler. Being located in the urban center of Águilas, its access is direct and well signposted, whether we come by private car, public transport, or even on foot from the town center.

By Private Car

If we choose the car, Playa de las Delicias is easily accessible from the Mediterranean Highway (A-7/E-15). We will take the exit towards Águilas and, once in the municipality, follow the signs to the promenade or the center. The beach is located in the eastern part of the city, right next to the marina and near landmarks such as the Auditorio and Centro de Congresos Infanta Elena. In the surrounding area, especially on adjacent streets and near the port, there is usually parking available, although in high season it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot, so we recommend arriving early. There are regulated parking zones (blue zone) and also some underground car parks that facilitate the stay.

By Public Transport

Águilas has a train station that connects with Lorca and Murcia, which can be an interesting option for those who prefer not to drive. From the train station, Playa de las Delicias is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk away, following the promenade. There are also urban bus lines that run through the city and have stops near the beach, facilitating movement from other areas of Águilas. For those coming from outside the Region of Murcia, the most common is to fly to Murcia-Corvera Airport (RMU) or Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC) and, from there, rent a car or take a direct bus to Águilas. The convenience of its location makes getting to this beach in Águilas a stress-free experience, allowing us to enjoy from the first minute.
