How to Get to Playa de la Pellisseta

Getting to Playa de la Pellisseta is relatively straightforward, although its more secluded location may require a bit of orientation. We always recommend planning the trip in advance to ensure a hassle-free arrival and to be able to enjoy this wonderful cove from the first minute.

By Car

For many, the car is the most comfortable and versatile option. If we are coming from Barcelona or Valencia, the AP-7 motorway is our best ally. We must take exit 32 (El Vendrell) and follow the signs to Roda de Berà. Once in the municipality, the beach is well signposted, although being a smaller cove, we might have to search a bit more. The national road N-340 also brings us closer to the area, offering more scenic but somewhat slower routes. It is important to consider that, being a semi-urban cove, parking can be a challenge during high season. Generally, there are parking areas on the surrounding streets or designated parking lots in the area of the larger beaches of Roda de Berà, such as Platja Llarga, from where we can take a pleasant walk to Pellisseta.

By Public Transport

If we prefer to leave the car at home, public transport is an excellent alternative. The nearest train station is Roda de Mar, which is part of the Rodalies de Catalunya R2 Sud line. From the station, the beach is a distance that can be covered on foot in about 15-20 minutes, or by using a local bus service, if available, or a taxi. There are also interurban bus lines connecting Roda de Berà with other towns on the Costa Daurada and Tarragona, which facilitates access from different points in the province.
