How to Get to Playa de la Mora

Playa de la Mora is easily accessible, which is always a plus. Its strategic location allows for comfortable arrival from Tarragona or other points along the Costa Dorada.

By Car

• From Tarragona: Take the N-340 towards Barcelona and follow the signs for La Mora or Tamarit. The signage is clear and will guide you directly to the area.
• From Barcelona: Use the AP-7 (exit 32) and then the N-340.
• Parking: The area has parking, some paid and others free on adjacent streets, although the latter tend to fill up quickly in high season. Our recommendation is to arrive early to secure a good spot.

By Public Transport

• Bus: Several urban bus lines in Tarragona (EMT Tarragona) connect the center with La Mora. It's advisable to check the updated schedules.
• Train: The nearest train station is in Tarragona. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to the beach.

Choosing the ideal time to visit Playa de la Mora depends on your preferences, but we offer you a guide based on our experience.

• Summer (June-August): This is the high season, with warm weather, long days, and lots of life on the beach. Perfect for swimming and water activities. However, it's busier, especially on weekends. If you're looking for atmosphere and guaranteed sun, this is your time. We recommend going early to find a spot.
• Spring (April-May) and Early Autumn (September-early October): For us, these are the ideal seasons if you're looking for tranquility and pleasant temperatures. The sun is already warm or still is, the water is suitable for swimming in autumn, and the crowds are much smaller. It's the perfect time for relaxation, walking, and enjoying the beach in a more intimate way, with more advantageous accommodation prices.
• Winter (November-March): Although it's not swimming season, Playa de la Mora is still beautiful for walking and enjoying the coastal landscape in peace. Services are usually closed, but the natural beauty remains intact.
