How to Get to Playa de la Malvarrosa

Getting to Playa de la Malvarrosa is really simple, making it a very convenient option for any plan. We always recommend exploring the various public transport options that Valencia offers, as they are efficient and allow us to forget about the car.

By Public Transport

• Bus: Valencia's Municipal Transport Company (EMT) has numerous lines that drop us off a step away from the beach. Lines 2, 19, 31, and 92 are some of the most frequent ones connecting the city center and other key points with Malvarrosa. The 'Passeig Marítim' stop is one of the most central and closest.
• Tram: If we're coming from the center or areas like Estación del Norte, we can take the metro to the 'Marítim-Serrería' station and from there connect with the tram (lines 4 and 6) to the 'Eugenia Viñes' or 'La Malvarrosa' stops. It's a scenic and comfortable option.

By Car

If we prefer the comfort of our own vehicle, access to Playa de la Malvarrosa is direct via Avenida del Puerto or Ronda Norte. However, finding parking can be a challenge, especially during the summer months. There are some public parking areas, both paid (blue zone) and free in adjacent streets, but they tend to fill up quickly. We always advise arriving early to secure a good spot.

By Bicycle or on Foot

The beach is at its peak, with all services operational and a vibrant atmosphere. If we're looking for a party, lots of people, and the typical summer bustle, this is our time. However, it also means the beach will be more crowded, and finding a spot or parking can be more difficult. We really enjoy the atmosphere, but we're aware that patience is required.

Spring (April-May) and Early Autumn (September-October)

For us, these are the ideal seasons. Temperatures are very pleasant, ranging between 20°C and 26°C. The water is already warm enough for a refreshing swim in spring and remains so well into autumn. The number of people is lower than in summer, allowing us to enjoy the beach with more tranquility and space. Essential services are still running, and the sun gifts us spectacular sunsets. It's the perfect time for those seeking a balance between good weather and a more relaxed atmosphere at Playa de la Malvarrosa.

Winter (November-March)

Although it's not the season for swimming, winter in Malvarrosa has its charm. Temperatures are mild (between 10°C and 18°C), and the beach becomes an ideal place for walking, running, or simply sitting and contemplating the sea. The promenade still has life, and many restaurants remain open. It's an opportunity to see the beach from another perspective, more serene and authentic, and enjoy the sea breeze without the summer crowds.
