By Car

From Valencia, we take the V-15 towards El Saler and then the CV-500. Along this road, we'll find several access points and designated parking areas, especially at points where there are wooden walkways crossing the dunes to reach the sand. It's important to remember that we are in a natural park, so we must respect the designated parking areas and not invade the vegetation. The drive from central Valencia usually takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

By Bus

For those who prefer public transport, Valencia's EMT offers bus lines that reach the vicinity of the beach. Line 25, for example, connects central Valencia with El Palmar and El Perellonet, passing through La Devesa del Saler. The stops are located along the CV-500, and from there, we'll need to walk a bit through the walkways to reach the shore. It's a comfortable and sustainable option that we, on occasion, have used to enjoy the scenery without worrying about parking.

During the high season, the beach has Lifeguard services, which gives us great peace of mind, especially with children. The lifeguard stations are strategically distributed along the coast, and their presence is essential for safe swimming. Furthermore, we'll find some Showers and foot-washing stations at the main access points, which is very practical for rinsing off the sand before heading home.

Regarding dining, Playa de la Devesa does not have a large number of options directly on the sand. However, at the access points and nearby, we can find some Chiringuitos (beach bars) that offer drinks, ice cream, and some fast food. We usually bring our own cooler with provisions, but it's always nice to know there are options for refreshments or a snack. For a more elaborate meal, nearby towns like El Palmar or El Saler offer excellent gastronomic options.

Parking is another important service. As mentioned before, there are designated parking areas near the beach access points, which greatly facilitates a visit by car. Don't expect large service complexes; the beauty of La Devesa lies in its simplicity and respect for its pristine nature. We won't find umbrella and sunbed rentals managed by the beach itself, although some chiringuitos may offer it privately; it's more common for everyone to bring their own equipment.

Summer is, as expected, the high season. Temperatures are high and the sun shines brightly, inviting swimming and full enjoyment of the beach. Although the number of visitors is higher, the expanse of Playa de la Devesa always allows us to find a quiet spot.
