If we come by car, the most direct option is to take the A-7 motorway and turn off towards the N-340 in the direction of Almuñécar. Once in the municipality, the beach is located right next to the Peñón del Santo, one of the most well-known landmarks.

For parking, we recommend looking for a spot in the Peñón del Santo underground parking, which, although paid, ensures a safe and very close place to the sand. It is also possible to find parking on the adjacent streets, although in high season it can be more difficult. For those who prefer public transport, Almuñécar has a bus station with regular connections from Granada, Málaga and other nearby towns, operated mainly by the Alsa company. From the station, a short walk or a taxi will drop us right on the shore of Caletilla.
