How to Get to Playa de la Almadraba

We always recommend considering the different transport options to choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences, especially in high season, when access can be busier.

By Car

If you choose to drive, Playa de la Almadraba is accessible from the N-332 or the main roads of Alicante. Once in the area, you'll find adjacent streets where it's possible to park, although in the summer months it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot, given the beach's popularity among local residents. Our suggestion is to arrive early to secure a good spot and avoid the stress of searching. Remember that patience is key at the most popular beach destinations. The nearby residential areas often offer free street parking, but without a public parking lot dedicated exclusively to the beach, availability can vary greatly.

By Public Transport

Public transport is an excellent, comfortable, and sustainable alternative for reaching this wonderful Alicante beach.

• Bus: Several urban bus lines in Alicante have stops near La Almadraba. Lines 9, 21, and 22 are some of those that will get you close to the area. It's a very practical option if you're staying in the center of Alicante or other parts of the city, as they will drop you off just a few minutes' walk from the sand.
• Tram: If you're coming from other towns on the Costa Blanca, the Alicante Tram is a fantastic option. You can take Line 3 (L3) to the Lucentum station and, from there, you can walk a bit or connect with one of the aforementioned bus lines that will take you directly to the beach. The Tram offers beautiful views of the coastline and is an experience in itself.
