How to Get to Playa de Kavarna

Getting to Playa de Kavarna is simpler than it seems, especially if you are in northeastern Bulgaria. The city of Kavarna is the reference point, and from there, the beach is a short drive or even a walk away, depending on your accommodation's location. Here are the best options in detail:

From Varna

Varna, one of Bulgaria's largest cities and a major tourist hub, has the nearest international airport (VAR). From Varna, the distance to Kavarna is approximately 60 kilometers, which translates to a journey of just under an hour by car. There are several options:

• Rental Car: This is the most comfortable and flexible option, allowing you to explore the region at your own pace. The E87 road runs along the coast and offers beautiful scenery.
• Bus: There are regular bus lines from Varna's central station to Kavarna. The journey usually takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

From Dobrich

Dobrich, the provincial capital, is located about 45 kilometers west of Kavarna. If you arrive in Dobrich, the drive takes approximately 45 minutes. There are also frequent bus connections between the two cities.

Local Transport
