How to Get to Playa de El Moussafir

Getting to Playa de El Moussafir is part of the adventure. The main entry point is Dajla Airport (DXB), which receives direct flights from several Moroccan cities like Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, and also from some European cities, greatly facilitating access to this remote gem. Once at the airport, most camps and hotels in the lagoon area offer transfer services, which we highly recommend for a hassle-free arrival.

From the Airport and Dajla City

The beach is located a considerable distance from Dajla city, often referred to as 'the lagoon' or 'PK25', referring to the kilometer marker on the road. From the airport or downtown Dajla, we can opt for a private taxi, which can be negotiated, or the organized transfers from our accommodation. The journey usually takes between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on the exact location of our destination within the vast bay. Renting a car is also an option, giving us more freedom to explore the surroundings, although the sand tracks to some camps may require a 4x4 vehicle.

Parking, although often informal, is available near the accommodations and schools. Chiringuitos and Restaurants offer everything from fresh local dishes to international cuisine, with seafood, especially Dajla oysters, being an unmissable delight. For relaxation, many establishments provide Umbrellas and Sunbeds, inviting us to enjoy the sun and breeze. Furthermore, the presence of Lifeguards in the activity areas of the camps adds an extra layer of safety, especially for those practicing water sports. And, of course, Equipment Rental for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and other sports is one of the pillars of the offer, with qualified instructors and state-of-the-art gear. The Sports Zone is, in essence, the entire lagoon, an unparalleled natural playground.
