Route from Athens

From Athens, the drive to Playa de Chiliadou takes approximately between two and a half to three hours, depending, of course, on traffic on the roads and the spontaneous stops you decide to make to admire the panoramic views. We strongly recommend taking the E65 highway towards Lamia/Patras. After crossing the famous and spectacular Rio-Antirrio bridge, a marvel of modern engineering that offers an impressive visual experience, continue along the coastal road to the east. This route will take you through charming coastal towns like Nafpaktos and Itea, each with its own character and beauty. It is important to consider that signage towards Playa de Chiliadou can be a bit scarce in the final stages of the journey, so it is absolutely essential to have a good GPS navigation system or a reliable map application.
