How to Get to Playa de Can Picafort

One of the most comfortable ways is to rent a car directly at the airport. The journey to Can Picafort takes approximately 45-55 minutes, depending on traffic, and allows us to enjoy the freedom to explore the island at our own pace. The roads are in excellent condition and the route is quite direct. Furthermore, Can Picafort has several parking areas, both free and paid, which facilitates access to the beach and its surroundings. We always recommend this option if we plan to take excursions around the island.

For those who prefer not to drive, public transport is a viable alternative. There are bus lines connecting the airport with Palma de Mallorca, and from Palma's Intermodal Station, we can take a direct bus to Can Picafort. During the high season, the frequency of these buses is quite good. There are also taxi services and private transfers that will take us directly to our accommodation, offering a stress-free, though slightly more expensive, option. The truth is, once there, most points of interest are within walking distance or can be easily reached with local transport.

Furthermore, accessibility is a strong point: it offers full accessibility for people with reduced mobility, including access ramps, wooden walkways that reach the sand, and even, on occasion, amphibious chairs and support staff at adapted bathing points. This demonstrates a real commitment to inclusion, something we applaud.

For our comfort, we find numerous showers to rinse off sand and salt, as well as clean and well-maintained toilets/WCs along the promenade. If we need shelter from the sun or simply to relax, we can rent sunbeds and umbrellas.
