How to Get to Playa de Batis

Getting to Playa de Batis is surprisingly easy, making it an ideal choice for a day trip or a longer stay from Kavala. This wonderful beach is located only about 4-5 kilometers west of the city center of Kavala, which means the journey is short and very convenient. We, on our multiple visits, have verified the excellent connectivity of the area.

By Car

If you have a vehicle, access is direct. From the center of Kavala, simply follow the coastal road heading west. The signage to Batis is clear and the route is straightforward, without complications. One of the great advantages of this beach is the availability of a spacious and organized Parking lot, which will allow you to park your car stress-free and with the assurance that it will be well-guarded while you enjoy the sea. The parking usually has a small fee, but the comfort it offers is completely worth it.

By Public Bus

For those who prefer not to drive, public transportation is an excellent alternative. There are local bus lines that connect the center of Kavala with the Batis area regularly, especially during the summer months. The buses are modern and comfortable, and the journey offers panoramic views of the coast. We recommend checking the schedules at the Kavala bus station or at designated stops to confirm the frequency, which is usually very good.

By Taxi

An even more comfortable, though slightly more expensive, option is to take a taxi from any point in Kavala. The trip is very short, just about ten minutes, and local taxi drivers know the beach's location perfectly.
