Getting to Playa de Askeli is part of the adventure and, fortunately, it is quite straightforward. The island of Poros is very well connected to the port of Piraeus in Athens via ferries and 'flying dolphins', offering a picturesque and comfortable journey. Once at the port of Poros Town, we have several options to reach this magnificent Poros beach.

From Poros Town

• By bus: There is a regular bus service connecting Poros Town with Askeli and other nearby beaches. It is an economical and frequent option, especially during the summer months. The stops are conveniently located and the journey takes just 10-15 minutes.
• By taxi: Taxis are readily available at the port and offer a quick and direct ride to Askeli. It is ideal if we are traveling with luggage or prefer greater comfort.
• On foot: For walking enthusiasts, Askeli is about 2.5 to 3 kilometers from Poros Town. It is a pleasant coastal walk with spectacular views, although it is advisable to avoid the midday heat in summer.
• Vehicle rental: We can rent a scooter, bicycle, or car in Poros Town, giving us the freedom to explore Askeli and the rest of the island at our own pace. Parking in Askeli is generally easy to find.
