If we're coming from Mahón, the island's capital, the journey takes about 20-25 minutes. We must take the ME-7 road towards Fornells and, shortly after, follow the signs to Arenal d'en Castell. From Ciutadella, the route is a bit longer, approximately 35-40 minutes, and also involves taking the main ME-1 road and then turning onto the ME-7 and finally the turnoff to the beach. The signage is clear and presents no complications. Once in the area, you'll find several free parking zones, although in high season they can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early.

By public transport

During the summer months, there are bus lines connecting Playa de Arenal d'en Castell with Mahón and other nearby towns. This is a comfortable option if you prefer not to rent a car or if you want to forget about parking. Frequencies are usually good, but it's always advisable to check the updated schedules on the local transport company's website.
