How to Get to Agia Kiriaki Beach

Getting to Agia Kiriaki Beach is relatively straightforward, and the experience of driving along the roads of Milos is already part of the adventure. This charming cove is located in the southern part of the island, about 10-15 kilometers from Adamas, the main port, and from Plaka, the picturesque capital. We always recommend renting a vehicle to explore Milos, as it offers the freedom to discover every corner at our own pace.

Transportation Options

• Rental Car: This is the most practical and popular option. From Adamas or Plaka, the journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. The main road is paved and in good condition, facilitating access. There is clear signage, so we won't have trouble finding our way. Upon arrival, we will find a wide parking area free of charge right behind the beach, which is a great advantage.
• Motorbike or Quad: Another widely used alternative in Milos, especially by younger travelers or those seeking a bit more adventure. It allows access to more secluded coves and navigating traffic in high season. However, caution is advised when driving, especially on curves and on the dirt roads leading to some less accessible beaches.
• Public Bus: There is a bus service connecting Adamas with some of the most popular beaches, including Agia Kiriaki. However, schedules can be limited, especially outside the high season, and frequency is not as high as on other islands. It's always a good idea to check the updated schedules at the Adamas bus station before planning the trip.
• Taxi: If we prefer comfort without worrying about driving, a taxi is an option. We can find taxis in Adamas and Plaka. It is more expensive than the bus or renting a vehicle, but it can be convenient for specific trips.
• Boat Tours: Although not the main way to reach Agia Kiriaki, some boat tours exploring the south coast of Milos may make a stop here. It is an excellent way to see the beach from another perspective and combine it with exploring other coves inaccessible by land, like Kleftiko.
