From Hermosillo

The most common and comfortable way to get to Playa Bahía de Kino is by road from Hermosillo. The distance is approximately 100 kilometers, which translates to a journey of between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and speed. The highway is modern and in good condition, offering a scenic route through the Sonoran desert.

• By private car: This is the option we prefer, as it gives us the freedom to explore at our own pace and visit the surroundings. From Hermosillo, simply take State Highway 100 heading west. The signage is clear and the route direct.
• Bus: There are bus services connecting Hermosillo with Bahía de Kino. They are an economical and reliable option, albeit with fixed schedules. The bus terminals in Hermosillo regularly offer these routes.
