How to Get to Playa San Pancho

Taxi or Private Transportation Services

Upon exiting Puerto Vallarta airport, we can easily find authorized taxis and private transportation services that will take us directly to our accommodation in San Pancho. Prices are fixed and, although they can be a bit higher than other options, they offer comfort and speed, especially if we are traveling with a lot of luggage or in a group.

Public Bus

For travelers on a tighter budget or those seeking a more local experience, the public bus is a viable alternative. From Puerto Vallarta, we can take a bus from the 'Pacífico' or 'Vallarta Plus' line heading to Bucerías, Sayulita, or San Pancho. It's important to confirm that the bus passes through San Pancho, or alternatively, get off at the turnoff from highway 200 and take a local taxi or 'colectivo' to the town center. This option may take a bit longer, but it's very economical and allows us to mingle with the daily life of the region.
