How to get to Playa Estero

Getting to Playa Estero is quite simple, especially if we are coming from the north, such as Tijuana or the US border. The most common and convenient way is by car, taking the Transpeninsular Highway (Mexico 1) that takes us directly south, passing through Ensenada.

From Ensenada

If we are already in Ensenada, the journey is even shorter. We simply follow Avenida Reforma (part of Highway 1) south. We will see clear signs towards Estero Beach Resort, the main landmark for accessing the beach. The road is paved and in good condition, making the trip easy. Once there, we will find ample parking areas, which is a great advantage and gives us peace of mind.

The sand and the water

When we set foot on Playa Estero, we notice its sand, a charming mix of fine and coarse, with a soft golden tone that shines under the Baja California sun. Walking barefoot on it is a pleasure, perfect for building sandcastles or simply feeling the connection with nature. The beach is quite extensive, offering plenty of space to relax.

During winter (December-February), temperatures drop, making the water cooler, but the days are usually sunny and pleasant, perfect for long walks or for escaping the cold of other regions without crowds.
