How to Get to Playa de Paradise

Getting to Playa de Paradise is part of the adventure, and fortunately, the island of Tasos offers several options to make our journey as comfortable as possible. The beach is located on the east coast of the island, between Kinira and Aliki, making it accessible from the main tourist centers.

By Car

For us, the most flexible and recommended option is to rent a car. Tasos' road infrastructure is quite good, and driving around the island allows us to explore at our own pace. From Limenas (the capital), the journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes, following the coastal road south. From Potos or Limenaria, in the south of the island, the trip is similar in duration, though heading north. The road leading directly to the beach is a well-signposted turn-off from the main road, often a bit narrower and winding, but perfectly passable. There is ample parking available right behind the beach, although in high season it can fill up quickly. We advise arriving early to secure a good spot.

By Bus

The KTEL bus network of Tasos connects the main villages and beaches of the island. We can take a bus from Limenas, Potos, or Limenaria heading to Kinira or Aliki, and ask the driver to drop us off at the turn-off for Playa de Paradise. From the main bus stop on the road, we'll have to walk about 10-15 minutes down the path that descends to the beach. It's an economical option, but less comfortable if we're carrying a lot of equipment or traveling with small children.

By Taxi

Taxis are a comfortable alternative, especially if we're traveling in a group or prefer not to drive. We can find taxis in all the main villages of Tasos. The cost will be higher than the bus, but it will drop us off right at the entrance to the beach, which is a considerable advantage after a day of sun and sea. Negotiating the price beforehand is always a good practice.

We can wade out a good distance and the water will barely cover our knees, providing us with an unparalleled feeling of safety and relaxation.
