How to Get to Playa de Potami

The roads in Samos are generally in good condition, and the signage to Potami is adequate, making navigation easy even for first-time visitors to the island.

There is a free parking area right behind the beach, which is a great advantage, especially during the high season months when visitor numbers are higher. This parking allows us to leave the car comfortably and access the shore directly. For those who prefer not to drive, there are public transport options. During the tourist season, local KTEL Samos buses usually operate routes between Karlovasi and nearby beaches, including Potami, although frequency may vary. We always advise checking the updated schedules at the Karlovasi bus station or online before planning the trip. Another alternative, if we are in Karlovasi and prefer a more direct and worry-free journey, is to take a taxi. Taxis are relatively easy to find in the center of Karlovasi and offer a quick and efficient service to the beach, ideal for those traveling with luggage or in small groups.

The Sand and Water

These establishments allow us to enjoy authentic Greek gastronomy with sea views. We can taste dishes of fresh fish, Greek salads, 'souvlaki', and other local delicacies, accompanied by a refreshing drink or a glass of Samos wine. Many of these
