How to Get to Playa de Pefkias

We always recommend the flexibility offered by a rental car, especially if you plan to explore the surrounding Peloponnese. From Athens, the drive takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, following the E65 highway towards Patras and taking the exit towards Xylokastro. Once in Xylokastro, the beach is a short distance away, well signposted.

Transportation Options

• Private or rental car: This is, by far, the most comfortable option. The road is modern and the journey offers pleasant scenery. In the beach area, you'll find parking available, although it can be a bit busier during high season.
• Bus: From the Kifissos Bus Station in Athens, there are frequent services to Corinth and, from there, to Xylokastro. Once in Xylokastro, you can take a local taxi or, if your accommodation is nearby, even walk to the beach.
• Train: Although it doesn't go directly to Xylokastro, you can take the suburban train (Proastiakos) from Athens to Corinth and then continue by bus or taxi. It's a more picturesque option, but requires more transfers.
