From Athens

If we start from central Athens, we have several options to reach this paradisiacal destination:

• By car: Without a doubt, this is the most comfortable and flexible way to get there. We take the coastal road (Poseidonos Avenue or E09/Leoforos Souniou) that winds along the Athenian Riviera. The journey is spectacular, offering us panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Depending on traffic, the trip usually takes between 45 and 60 minutes. There are parking areas available in the zone, some paid and some free, especially if we arrive early.
• By bus: We can take an intercity bus (KTEL Attikis) from the Mavromateon bus station or from the Elliniko metro stop. There are lines heading towards Sounion or Anavyssos that stop in Lagonisi. It's an economical option, but it can be a bit slower and less direct than by car.
